So I have bought 8 sites here, from someone that I won't name.. yet.

I have sent the payment using PayPal and now the guy doesn't reply to PMs and email anymore.. Is there something I can do?

I will wait until tomorrow to start bashing the guy, maybe he will transfer the domains tomorrow?

I am pretty pissed, any advices?

    Thanks

If you have bought them through Paypal, after you are done waiting on him, file a complaint with Paypal.

I had that type of experience here once, filed a complaint and all of a sudden the guy started responding to my emails.

It not a sure thing, but it does hurt to try.

    Thanks for your advices.

    @Jerlene.net
I have sent the payment tonight.

UPDATE: I have just received a PM from him saying he ll push the domains tomorrow.

Is there a time limit for opening a dispute?

    Thanks

i would advice just file the dispute right now. it will block him to withdraw the money and he will have 14 days to answer. so do it now.
Once he transfer the domain, you can cancel the dispute. and he will get the money.

This is just to protect yourself, so you do not lose the money.

imteaz is right, if you want to be on the safe side. However, if he seems to be honest and got delayed to a genuine cause, give him the benefit of doubt but only for 24 hours.

I think you should wait until one day. This is weekend, and we are in different time zone. While we are awake, maybe he/she is sleeping.

I agree with this one, we should wait a day or two, we are comin from different timezones allover the world, and sometimes quite busy with our "real" world. Since you have 90 days to open paypal dispute, give him more time to contact you again.

But since you have open the dispute, I wish you goodluck with your transaction.

ah well first wait and see ,not everyone is a scammer, i bought a domain premium 4l.com from someone recently and it was thru paypal and i paid xxx for the domain, he didnt reply for several days i was about to open dispute but i didnt , he is now transferring the domain.

So first wait and try to resolve it , maybe he had somekind of problem thats why he couldnt push , time zone and also its labor day weekend , many people out on vacation with families.

SO first wait, you can file a dispute later if he doesn't reply or doesn't push.

I buy and sell on here all the time. The other poster is right with timezones there are people from all over the world on here. Give it a day or so. If he said he will push them tomomrrow give him the benefit. You've got lots of time to open the dispute

You should not open the dispute before taking his point of view. There might be a delay due to different timezones of the countries. When he said that he will push the domain, then you should wait. You can open the dispute within 60 days after payment. So you have plently of time.If the matter solves amicably, then it is better.
Dispute always gets prolonged and both the parties suffers. So it's better to solve the matter with communication.

Okay Guys, I would not jump and start argue with you guys But i really had bad experience.

I bought a domain from a British guy with $499. So i paid him whole amount. Then i asked please transfer the domain, he goes yeah i will within 24 hours. I gave him time thinking that he lives in UK, and we have different time zone, so after 24 hours i asked him again please transfer the domain, he told me please wait few more hours.

So after 10 hours i asked him again, he does not reply me, so i have file Paypal dispute. But after 14 days paypal closed the dispute without getting my money. So i called paypal.... they goes before you file dispute that guy withdraw money, customer service guy told me if u have dispute 12 hours earlier we could have recover the money.

So, i got so pissed. Since then if i see in 12 hours i did not get the item i file paypal dispute. After that couple of times it happned to me but everytime i got money back due to put the paypal dispute on right time. So they can not withdraw the money.

The last thing is, you can not trust anyone online. So always be on safe side.

DP staff does not get involved in private member disputes. It's between you, the other member, and the payment processor or bank. Also, please note that if you want to leave negative feedback, it must be via iTrader or in the deal thread - not a new thread.
