Okay so i have one hundred websites and for one niche I own about half the country BUT I dont know how to go about this. I have a main niche site and then for each state i own a domain. I have turned the main niche site into a wordpress website and i have articles added EVERY DAY ! But my state niches are just one and two page template sites . . . should i go through and convert them all into wordress even though they are just sub niches because i want to be able to capture each state i have but you can only write so many articles about STATE NICHE So please help instruct me on how I should be going about this THANKS !
thanks i know about wordpress mu but that is to have multiple blogs setup under one domain . . . I own ALL these domains so should i set up a bunch of wordpress domains ? or just leave the state niches as templates and just upload html files ? Thanks !
I have decided what to do . . . it is a MONEY MAKER FOR SURE . . . I will come back to this thread in a few weeks and let you guys know whats going on and how I am doing what I am going to do - if it works - IM TALKING BIG NUMBERS . . . but of course with 100 websites if you are not making big numbers then what the hell are you doing ? ??
Business Plan ?? ? I have a MONEY PLAN ! Things happen unsuspectingly if I was going with a business plan 3 years ago when I started I WOULDNT HAVE ANYTHING . . . I thought I was going to eventually make a MILLION DOLLARS off of my first website and thought I only needed one. When you write out a plan you are THINKING IN THE BOX. You must think OUTSIDE the box and be willing to move with the changes if you want to succeed !
just outta curiosity why should I make a subdomain on my main domain ? i already own 100+ they can be their own site . . .
MADE $70 today . . . and SLEPT ALLDAY ! didnt do ANYTHING .. . also I have only completed roughly about 6 websites . . . but some traffic is from what I had already done in the past, but with a new more PROFESSIONAL looking site themes, WHICH CONVERT SO MUCH, I MEAN SO MUCH better ! I will let everyone know the results once all the sites are up and generating traffic/revenue . . . BIG REVENUE ! Also it is the niche that I am in that is resulting in the huge payouts. NO I WILL NOT DISCLOSE WHAT NICHE THAT IS . . . I suggest you do research and trial and error. I CANT GIVE AWAY MY SECRET . . . well until I am making 2-5,000 dollars a day ! Which is my estimate once these sites are finished ! SEE YOU THERE !
Just so you know, you can uses multiple domain names with WordpresMu. One of my installations has 74 different blogs all on different domains. Most of the blogs are unrelated and don't reference each other. Having just one Wordpress installation to manage, however, is an incredible time saver.
I can appreciate your "thinking outside of the box" and not actually having aplan in effect, but you don't need 100 websites to make a lot of money. Just one good one. Personally, if you own the main search term, I would have set up a sub domain, or separate page for each state...especially since they are only a few static pages each, or, with the correct permalink structure, or created 50 categories (1 for each state) to capture the search results not only for the main term, but for eahc state and any new content that goes along with it....not to mention that now you have to SEO 50 different sites that do the same thing, with just different sub-headings. Installing 50 separate WP installations for 50 static sites that you are not updating will be a pain in the ass, not to mention that now you are looking at $500 a year in renewals for the same niche, instead of 50 sites in differing niches so that all your eggs aren't in one basket. But then again, if it's working for you, who am I to say
I like this idea . . . and now since i already own each state i think once when i get more time, i will set up subdomains for all the high paying cities ! with my niche i am getting 10 - 23 dollars a click so paying for the domains is rather easy. And I purchased all the States where i make over 9 dollars a click that is why I have so many. I could do one big blog . . . but my competitors are multibillion dollar corporations . . . so I just bought each state so that my domains are better and more keyword targeted than theirs could ever be, so I will hopefully beat them at their own game !
I can certainly understand that. It's very rare these days that we get to control a good chunk of a search term or category, so I guess, if it is as coveted as you say, then securing as much real estate as possible, even if you just sat on them, was a good idea.
