I got 3,792 impressions today and one click for adsense. Sound about right? The site is http://www.contestx.com

The traffic from SU is generally pretty bad - most users wont stay longer than a few seconds let alone click an ad.

perhaps you just have it miscategorized on su? I know my visitors tend to do 3-5 pages from SU each (avg)

Probably the visitors just didn't find your site interesting and left....

Isn't stumbleupon only direct people to sites that are pretty popular? So if no one liked the site, it would never get stumbleupon traffic. Correct?

I got stumbled last year.. several thousand visitors over a few days, but low if any earnings.. same thing when I got on Digg (only wayyy more visitors).

it seems that Diggers and Stumblers just arent clickers ..

Visitors from SU never click ads, even worse than Digg. I got stumbled 1000 times, with a zero click!

This is true with most digg-like and social networks.
They can drive a lot of traffic, but visitors are mainly "geeks" and they almost never click ads.
But if your site is "geeks related", it's good traffic, but not the one to make you rich.

Though it is not good for short term earnings, You will get benefot in the long term with higher search engine rankings.

You still probably should have got more than one lousy click! Try placing an ad in between the contest lists. Maybe after the first? This will put the ads where your visitors are looking!
