    Hi,
For the past 3 months, I have been working on a desktop written in javascript & PHP. It really looks like ubuntu, for now, but its possible to make different skins,so it would be easy to build a windows-like skin. The template engine is smarty.

It is also made so that it is easy to launch the desktop + applications inside the desktop using any javascript event (click, load, etc.). It is also possible to make an application float inside a webpage.

For now, I am building the applications needed to run a social network. So, I am building a private messaging system, an MSN like application, a forum, etc.

At last, it's very easy to communicate between the application & other web softwares... so it would be easy to make it work with vbulletin, phpbb, joomla, typo3, drupal etc.

What I want to do with the system is to sell it now, and continue building the technology. I will release the first version in about 3 months, and would like to build up a small team to help me market the software, while I continue working on the code.

If you have done that type of work in the past, please PM me. Of course, you will be paid for your efforts.

    Thanks,
    Steve

I also forgot to say that the goal of the software is to merge within current websites, so that all the forms of a website is made within application inside the desktop.

That way, when people integrate with the website, they use an online desktop that uses ajax heavily to make everything works fast, and when hey are done, they close the desktop and they see the webapge they were looking at.

Please note that the desktop just loads inside a div, within any page, using javascript & ajax. It fades-in over a webapge when an event occur (like a click on a link), and when the visitor is done with it, it fades-out, without reloading the webapge, so the surfer can continue visiting the content of the website.

If you have any question, feel free to PM or ask them here. And like I said, if you want to see an online demo, just PM me.

    Thanks,
    Steve
