so how to find the right buyer?

Registering a few domain names made up of two dictionary words seems like a simple task.

The words make up a popular expression but in a restricted field of knowledge, like a niche.

I'm tired of waiting to sell them, but noone seems to be interested.

Common DPers are not interested in science but more in commercial stuff.

How to find the buyer for these domains? An appraisal is worth nothing if nobody pops up/.

    Thanks.

Type in the two words in any major search engine
    and see what comes up.

If you find companies that are either named
with those words or sell products with those
words and don't have as good a name, you can
contact them to see if they are interested.

wait... you never considered looking up who is dealing with our product?

no offense to you personally, but this is why people just jumping into a business is such a terrible idea, jump in, spend money, expect things to be hand delivered to them on a platter, don't do even the MOST BASIC research and effort into earning profit. What do they honestly expect?

No offence taken but I dont know why you quoted me.

I have a few hundred aged domains 8 years plus...and a few very nice domains and I have tried using sedo etc but no buyers.

Therefore I am left with the idea of doing a search for companies via google.

Recently cruises.com sold for just over $1 million because it came 1st on google for the term cruises and the owners of cruise.com (who came up second!) gave them a million bucks in order to secure both positions.

Well, if I can get a couple of grand for some of the domains I have I will be a happy man!

First I ened to seo some of the domains yeah, but in the long run its probbaly worth it.

    :D

it was .co.uk not .com in your cruise example if I am not mistaken. You never considered looking up who actually might be interested? I hate to be the bearer of bad news but companies/end users arent scouring sedo each day looking at what they can buy, they buy what they need, when they need it. You need to make them need it.

Of course exceptions exist for top tier domains, cruises for example and other real *premium* names.
