Me? I am still on the stage of getting 120 UV/day. I am still on my second month. And when i get about 300 articles i will apply for a hosting service. And redirect my blogspot blog towards the new site, with new design and features.
Like 4 months starting with zero experience. My advice, don't constantly check your visitor count and worry about your stats. You have no control over those numbers. What you do have control over is the ability to build links and create more content which in turn will draw more visitors. This why most website creators fail, they think refreshing their stats page every 3 seconds will somehow help them. It doesn't.
The number of visitors isn't nearly as important as the quality of the visitors. If your goal is to market a product you want responsive visitors. You don't need anywhere near 1,000 visitors a day to have a profitable site.
It can take a while to get 1000 a day, but your site can still be profitable without getting 1000 a day
If you want to increase the number of actual daily visitors you might want to consider using the ping function, posting a minimum of 3 times a week, posting comments to relevant blogs with a link back to your site. You'll get the traffic you want and it will be more targeted than usual one way linking methods.
