    I have real-time weather displayed on the my webcam - currently 42 degrees with light winds (I'll spare you the humidity and pressure). Check back after Thanksgiving and I'll have the webcam online so you get a real-time view.

    20's and 30's snowed all day. Now we have snow on the ground and its before Thanksgiving! Bunch of accidents on the roads this morning, with no more than a millimeter of snow on the ground! Yippie this is going to be a great winter....:mad:

    I just got back from the store and I saw two cars in ditches. People are so dumb out there during the first few snowfalls of the year.

    It's almost like blizzard conditions out there right now. Snow w/ 30+ MPH winds.

    You know it's funny you mention that. Living here (we are not that far apart) it never ceases to amaze me how many people native to the midwest suddenly forget how to drive every year.

    Just do everything a little bit slower and you'll be fine. Of course those FIB's cannot drive in any kind of weather ;)

    Yeah, people don't realize that you need to start braking a lot earlier. And on a night like tonight when there aren't salt trucks out yet, you need to take turns very slowly.

    FIB's = F'n in-breds?

    Brilliant! I've not seen that come back before. Thing is I am from St. Louis originally. We called them FISH down there. Up here they call them FIBs or flatlanders. I guess I generally call them friends. Seems that is where most of my friends live and work. They call Illinois itself a "parking lot". Mainly because at any given time traffic wise, you might as well be in a parking lot.

    I can't wait to get my car back. Driving this SUV is sucking me dry. I don't know how anyone can drive those things. $$$$ I think at best I was getting 18mpg today. ICK!!!

    ^ That's because I want to get lots of easy hits from google.. Its a heck lot easier to beat mis-spelled keywords than real.

    It's also because I have a really retarded wireless keyboard from labtec that don't type letters if you don't push them in a particular way which makes me go back and correct every third word I write :(
