I know what it is - search engine optimisation .. but how does it work? Im assuming its, make a site with fresh content, and i just have to wait for search engines to index me? Is this right? I've got about 100 articles on law, business and accounts (each) which have been made by myself, about 500 words an article. If i do decide to make a site with these articles, what kinda things do i do to get listed in google/yahoo etc? And isit worth me adding these articles on my very own site? Any help/advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
Links links links. In simple terms the more links you have to a page the better you will rank for the most prominent words or phrases on the page. (It's a little more complicated than that but that's your basics)
