Matt Cutts said recently in an interview that Google is getting better at reading flash. Does anyone know how they read it and what they read. And has anyone been affected by it? http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/pubcon-video-interview/
Can you provide a example of a website that is using flash and the flash content (like text) is indexed by google?
Your question is just on time A few days ago I was searching for a Nokia reseller in the gulf area when I found this: http://www.google.com/search?q=mash...avclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B3GGGL_enEG288EG288 Read the result titled "makintro" and then visit it!
Guys look at it in another way. Adobe created the flash player that is able to display whatever exists in the flash movie, right? Isn't it able to create a light version that reads text objects only and give it to google?
I have a site with flash game, and I'm using google search for my site. In the result i see some text that are in the .swf files. Like example if you search "frames" it will show you -Extra- Frames Per Second 40 Total Frames (On Stage) 15 Days Spent 1 Hours Spent 11 hours Library Items 102. targe_. target she_. helpz 0 the beggining. 000 frames per second. 0. unavailable 0 the beggining 100 . I think google can read swf files
