    Hi all,

I've found my product and my niche, and a way in which I think I can succeed so from that point of view I'm ready to start selling. My question though, how do I actually establish myself as a business within the UK? I really don't know where to start but I imagine there are certain guides on the internet (which state you need to do this, then you do that, then that, then your officially a business) which can help. Can anybody provide a link to such a website/article?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dan

Do a search for businesslink, its an information site provided by the government, lots of usefull information.

Trading on the net is different to retail. all the rules etc you will find on the businesslink web site

If you're just starting out I wouldn't bother. Just register with Inland Revenue as a sole trader and you'll just pay income tax on your earnings.
