    There was a major Google Panda update on April 12, 2011 - Mentioned on Google webmaster central, And it had affected 12% of searches - Well let's discuss how was the Google panda update for you?

    Hey I love the pic :)

    My sites have not been affected at all. Last August I took some time to add a lot of good content to my money sites and I never use black hat techniques for backlinks so right now my sites are holding steady. In fact I went up a couple places. With the amount of content that I added its fortunate that my sites were not mistaken for content farms.

    I see that a few of my competitors that I had been trying to outrank are completely out the SERPS which is good for me but for the owners I am guessing not so much.

    Anyway I am happy that Google is now rewarding good honest work and quality content.

    It affected me in a good way, I used to get 50 unqiue visitors every day from Google and know I'm getting over 150+ unique visitors daily.

    well for me it was great i am getting almost double traffic now...! Some websites have been mistakenly considered as content farm i am sorry for them...

    I was getting around 10k+ visitors per day now it has come down to 3k+.

    I got a 33% increase in traffic and a 26% increase in revenue, but I've been doing a lot of tricky work this work to fix my site up so its hard to tell if it was that which helped.

    A careful study by me reveals Google Panda has effect lots of UK top Sites and I was one who lost 70% of my visits from SERPS on all of my blogs. There are many lukeholes of Google Panda, one example I have covered is Hindi Songs Download Search in Google.

    I feel its more than 40% of searches got changed completely. Ezinearticles most effected with ranking :cool:

    Didn't affect me or my competition.

    For the people that it affected, be carefull google is still finetuning this update so things could still change.
    Hopefully google will find a way to not affect the wrong people with this update.
    The update is a bomb in googles war with spam and low quality content, but too many innocent bystanders got hurt.

    Yes 20% of my sites from my inventory got penalized under this Panda effect. However I have managed to re-cover from it for 5% of those sites by now by some real and unique content and link building campaigns. I was very lucky that I was not hurt bad by this Panda update, but couple of my friends have completed gone down in sites and revenues after that update, we call it a 04/15 crises :D
