    Their bot only looked at two pages and left.

    Any specific reasons this would happen?

    It is very common for Google to go in one step at a time. Usually you start getting the homepage indexed, next comes a handful or so and then one fine day - with a bit of luck - you get a deeper indexing.

    Throwing out links to sub-categories of your website wouldn't be such a bad idea. Could make Google go in faster and deeper :cool:

    You can check this by looking at your Server Log files or AWStats etc ;)

    cpanel has option to see latest visitors, it will show the refferer, and the pages and files he requested.

    Yep, try submitting a sitemap to google webmaster central if you haven`t done so already.
    I`ve also used plain HTML sitemaps linked to from every page (like on the footer of every page next to the about us,privacy,etc links).

    Awstats will tell you about every search bot,
    check your sitemap from webmaster tool site, to make sure there is no error on it, did you upload the site varification file to your server?

    I use bbclone.

    I have a tutorial that I have done on using bbclone with wordpress, if anyone is interested in it message me ill post it to my site.

    Maybe he found an adult site, with more interesting pics to put in his image search. He said, wow, I gotta check this out, and forgot what he was doing. :)
