So if I buy a bunch of links on certain sites. Just simple links that are listed with 50 other links, my rank will go up on Google?

    I'm interested in that.

What is this PR business? I see PR 0 and PR 5 sites....Which get me more exposure on Google?

PR is an abbreviated term for "Page Rank". it determines how important the web site is. the higher the pagerank, the more important and relevant the site is.

of course you should be picking the PR5 site. also, make sure that the content of such site adheres to yours. ;)

If you are buying links, they should look natural (from content).
Google doesn't love backlinks that look like they were bought.

Best to get "site relevant" inbound links. In other words, links coming from sites that are related to your site.

For example, if your site was about basketball, then gather as many links to your site from sporting sites.

    Hope this helps.

That may be true, but there are an army of link buyers who might think otherwise (or are wasting their money).

My most profitable site is a PageRank 8 that only does a few k of visitors per day. My advertisers certainly aren't paying for the eyeballs that're staring at their links!
