Snowboarding Anyone?

Go to a JIB PARK if they have one. I live 5 minutes from a mountain and we go skiing 4 - 5 times/week.

 

What's a JIB Park Roman1?

 

An area set up where they have rails and stuff to do trick on.

 

This is a part of one where I ski.

 

Right, that would be cool. We build those ourselves in the water for wakeboarding. Besides that ramp I've never hit anything like that snowboarding. Could have once but wasn't insured so had to be the wise adult and leave it.

If I find something cool I'll take some snaps and post it.

i was hoping to go to snowbombing in austria this year, its a big music/ski/boarding festival, but i am broke so think i will have to wait till last year. Last time i went i screwed my back up and cracked a rib on the second day doing a 180, i was gutted. Went back on the slopes a couple of days later, after taking lots of painkillers, but had to take it really slow!!

That's a good resume of my first and yet only time snowboarding!
Even so i loved it and gonna repeat it as soon as possible!

 

Snowboarding sounds interesting, but until I get health insurance, I'm not doing anything where I put my body at risk. Getting hurt in a snowboarding accident without insurance is a great way to become bankrupt.

 

Makes me miss summer...
