I woke up this morning and looked out the window - and I almost puked! My most dreaded day of the year has come. The first day of snow. I absolutely frickin hate winter! Now we have to deal with stupid idiot drivers who think that driving on icy roads is the same as dry asphalt. I could hit all those people over the head with a cast iron frying pan many times over. To all those people who pull up right behind another car waiting at a red light and almost slide into their vehicle because they're too stupid to slow down sooner - tear up your license and start taking the bus you morons! And now I'm done. I feel better!
I think it snowed here 4 times in the last 3 years. One year the snow lasted for the whole night! Having lived in Russia i still hate snow myself.
Believe me, I've thought about it. I've wished many times that I was born in California. I guess I shouldn't complain too much though. At least we don't have rattle snakes and black widow spiders.
We usually get a tornado or two around here every year, but usually the most damage they do is knock over a granary or a tree in the field.
I sure wish I had snow here. The temp is in the 70's today and in the lower 80's tomorrow. I miss winter time. I want lots and lots of snow...
As soon as you said that a wild bear broke into my house and attacked me. The bear was rushing to me and I heard a loud crash and "Oh YEAAAAAAAAAAAHH" The cool aid man came at the perfect time. He's going toe to toe with the bear at this exact moment.
I was in Saskatoon today and thought the snow was great. At least the roads are still clear, besides we made it to November 2 before it snowed. Sometimes it is October 11. Idiot drivers, heck you don't need snow for those people to come out. They are bad drivers whether there is snow on the ground or not. Besides how can you not smile when you see kids working on building a snowmen. Saw a couple of great ones today to!
Yeah, it's gonna be fun to see my daughter play in the snow this year now that she's old enough to. Maybe I'll send my husband out with her and I'll just watch from the window Actually, as I look out the window - most of the snow is gone already. It turned out to be a pretty nice day. Too bad for the trick-or-treaters though. They had to go door to door in the rain on Monday. As for the idiot drivers - you are absolutely right! Saskatoon is notorious for insane road rage maniacs. I got honked at once for yielding to a pedestrian at a crosswalk. I also got the finger when I made a complete stop at a stop sign. Oh, how I love this city.
I hate people that do that! (I would never flick you off though) I mean why do you have to stop all the way if there aren't any cops around? Sometimes I do the complete stop just to make my wife laugh.
My husband does the same thing. I would laugh too, but he never checks to see if there are cops around - which pisses me off since he has two unpaid tickets and two missed court dates. Why do men have to be so irresponsible? Anyway, I normally don't completely stop either. At this particular time though, it was a 4-way stop and there were other vehicles at each stop sign. I had to stop to see which one of us could go first.
