*This is big news. If true, the implication could be troublesome for anyone involved. http://michellemalkin.com/archives/005166.htm I'll keep updating my first post on this subject with reader feedback. Meantime, the Minutemen Blog has details not reported by the Daily Bulletin: Sara Carter, a reporter with the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, reports today that she found documentation on Mexican government websites that show higher ups in the United States Border Patrol have been tipping off the corrupt Mexican government as to the locations of the Minutemen along the border. This article does not report information told to the MCDC media offices that the Border Patrol chiefs have also been passing along intelligence reports to the government of Mexico on the activities of Minutemen not only at the borders, but in locations such as Utah, Nevada, Illinois, Massachusetts and Tennessee. Perhaps a follow-up story is coming tomorrow or an over zealous editor took the info out? Part of a report distributed last August to the Mexican government from Border Patrol bureaucrats read over the phone to the MCDC media offices contained not only numbers (estimated chapter membership) of Minutemen in Illinois, but a statement on their activities and that they didn't seem to know any politicians there, indicating that the Illinois Minutemen didn't yet have any political clout. That is not a report on the location of Minutemen at the border, but political intelligence from our government to a foreign nation about the activities of American citizens petitioning our own government for redress of grievances. The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps media offices will contact the reporter to inquire about copies of the documents and the timing on a follow-up story with the reports to the Mexican government of activities of Minutemen in INTERIOR states, as if reports of our locations in the border states weren't bad enough. If the ACLU weren't so busy demonizing the Minutemen, you would think they might be on the side of law-abiding Americans being surveilled by their government. Where are the privocrats now?
More importantly... May is National Salsa Month! Basic Salsa Recipe: 3 Med Tomatoes, diced. If necessary, drain 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/2 med red onion, diced 1/2 tsp crushed dried oregano 2 fresh jalapenos, seeded and diced Caution: We believe this recipe has been leaked to the US with a purpose. As Americans, you will find you will have to spend quite some time in the bathroom after consuming salsa. Although there is no indication what will happen to the known world while you are in the bathroom, reports are coming in that the bathroom "retreats" have become time consuming and labor intensive. Many have speculated that American jobs will be lost because of excess bathroom visits. The conspiracy people will have to take it from here…
Do you think a salsa recipe is more important than government officials giving a foreign government intelligience on things that could be considered treason? I mean you don't even have to like the Minutemen, and still find that important.
Why are you so suprised? It is old news that Bush has his crew spy on us then release the information. I do however enjoy pushing your political hot button whenever I get the chance. MMMM... Salsa Verde....
Better watch out for them hats too! Apparently it makes people stop what they are doing and dance around them! The whole nation could go crazy! Unemployment could drop! Imagine if they were to eat Salsa as well!
Just watch out for the Jalepenos. They sneak those little babies into the White House and the administration would spend so much time in the crapper they couldn't shit on anyone else. ha! That is the master plan!
Suprised isn't an emotion I'm feeling, as I'm well aware of America's flaws. Perhaps a bit angry that border agents are giving intelligience to foreign governments....although the feelings are reserved in a sense that it's a building story and may not fit it's profile. This articles not about Bush, and the only real link of (unlawful) spying by the Bush admin is the NSA wiretaps... As far as that goes, there's been no viable info to prove he went out of current law. It may have very well happened, but the info is not within congresses hands (feingold labels it as a concern)...otherwise the dems would have done something. Further investigation would be needed. I don't support Bush in almost anything, but he has to be proven guilty before he is. That's nice you admit your an asshole; and again and again you show yourself as an uninformed asshole.
*Some are saying the report is untrue, but as I said it's an 'if' issue ie it's a building story. Much like the Dan Rather story, it may be false.... in all essentiality, the first lady whom wrote on this issue, said the border patrol said something completely againsts the below statement...so a few people will be calling her soon and checking to see how her story really pans-out. It comes down to whether or not someone is manipulating their context e.g it depends on what 'is' means. Sorry, that's just a great example. As always, the truth never comes to anyone in a lazy manner...it's usually slow and processed. Patience may derive something or nothing out of this. If anything interesting comes up I'll post it or no doubt you'll hear about it. (original story) http://www.dailybulletin.com/news/ci_3799653 (US Customs position) http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/newsroom/highlights/news_highlights/statement05092006.xml Today’s report by the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, “U.S. tipping Mexico to Minuteman patrols,†is inaccurate. Border Patrol does not report activity by civilian, non-law enforcement groups to the Government of Mexico. During a detention of a legal or illegal immigrant that produces an allegation of improper treatment, Border Patrol reports the allegation and allows the appropriate consulate to interview the individual in custody. This is consistent with the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963 that provides consular access to foreign nationals being detained by a foreign government. This is the same agreement that protects United States citizens when they travel to foreign countries. U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Border Patrol continues to appreciate the efforts of civilians who contact law enforcement authorities regarding suspicious activity.
Please watch your language within these forums. I assume you reference my backside as the side effects of National Salsa Month seem to be following me.
Consider this all a bump in the road. I find that some people, like yourself and I, have to attempt pushing limits till we realize the standards in which we can communicated productively. We're almost there, I think.
I've done this to no-other...so it's only you. It's not the 'compassion' I'm doing it for, it's the incorrect assertions (about me) and the not-so-subtle comments. I don't mind disagreements with me--at all; but it's the manner and tongue in which it's presented that makes all the difference.
