so ive been anxiously waiting to see if i got a domain name. i signed up at pool.com and snapnames.com. this is my first backorder. The name was supposed to drop today. I still havnt heard anything at all from either pool or snapnames. My backorder status on snapnames was "acquiring name" for a while, and now has gone back to "backorder". does anyone know what the deal is? if it says "acquiring name" does it mean they grabbed it...or that they just tried to grab it.
At snapnames, when it says "acquiring name" it means that they are trying to get it for you. it seems sadly that you lost the name and somebody else beside snapnames or pool got it, it happen all the time! you need to do w whois to make sure and see exactly what happened.
