Hmm.. the snake looks alright, but why is it there? Does it have any sort of a meaning that ties in with your website? That's not too clear.

Your background looks decent, but it's possibly a little to loud, pattern-wise. The colour scheme is great, though, so I think you should stick with that. Your logo - disregarding the snake for now - is very nicely designed too.

And, yeah, you could do with creating a favicon.
