    Hi all,

I am doing a bit research.

    I have a few questions:

    - Do you use any third party SMTP servers?

    - If yes, which provider and for what purpose are you using the SMTP server?

I use Mandrill which is the backend of MailChimp.

Their deliverability stats are awesome, they take responsibility for all the throttling and bounce tracking. Because we only use it to send and not to manage our lists we pay the minimum fee each month.

Clients have used MailGun (I think) which is the same thing.

I use phplist.com. They have been pretty good and for small lists, you can pay as little as $5 per quarter to use them.

Very cool to hear about this.

    So you're paying only $10 p/mo ?

How many emails does it allow?

So basically my question is related to Transactional services and not to sending newsletters.

I know many webmasters use Sendgrid or Mailgun, but there are so many vendors out there these days (including my own).

So just for sending transactional emails and email routing, which provider are you using? (Not for newsletters)

    My questions are:
    - which provider are you using?
    - why?
    - how much is it costing you?

All our emails are handled the same way.

Select your email address, and under Advanced Settings, click Server Settings.
You'll then be brought to your Android's Server Settings screen, where you can access your server information.
