After a lot of help from this site I have got a functioning home ISP - Apache running on Mandriva Linux
Now, of course I want to set up email through the home server and searching the forums here looks like I must install an smpt server. I see a strong recommendation for hmail but the site says windows only. So:
Any suggestions for a good open source server (preferably with good documentation)?
Should I install in /usr/local/apache directory?
Thanks for any help that arrives.

Thanks. Looks good and, more importantly for me, the documentation looks good for someone like me, starting from scratch.
    Have a good week
