SMTP / POP for Live / Hotmail Does Not Work since Feb 2014

    I have been using my hotmail account for years and now for now reason can't send or receive e-mails via SMTP / POP3 protocols... Anybody with a similar issue?

    I had the same issue, mine was fixed after I started using LIVE.com to loggin, instead of the Hotmail.com website.

    use outlook.com instead of the hotmail.com

    Just use gmail, it is easier with them. I was using outlooks custom smtp/imap/pop3 stuff, but gmail is a lot better. I prefer the interface with gMail aswell.
