I'm guessing that your hosting provider is offering "email hosting" as a separate option, and they allow you to relay (send) 250 emails per day over their paid email host for free. If this is the case, they should have inform you about the email host details, like smtp, pop, imap etc.

By the way, which hosting provider are we talking about? Is it a VPS or a Dedicated server?

Well, this means that you are allowed to send 250 emails per day. But you will want to clarify this with your host.

This is a common setting coming from GoDaddy email acounts, thus you are free to send 250 emails a day, after which you will not be able to send any other email unless you upgrade to another email package with extended relay capabilities.
