I have seen that some sms sites like 160by2 help us to send sms from email. But I want to know that whether we can use this service to send sms from my own form ?
Probably not. The websites will probably stop you from doing this for a few reasons. The first is that the ads on their website probably support the whole service. If you let people use their service without even visiting their website, they won't get any money. You could always develop a similar system yourself, but it'll be costly, as you'll need to pay for each text a visitor sends.
Not necessarily if most Wireless providers are like Cingular/AT&T they have email addresses for their customers phone number like so: This is done so that they can keep all info in a db. Like voice mails. So any text sent to that email is pretty much just like a text message. I am sure most carriers do it the same way.
That's a good point, but the address will be different for all carriers, and not all carriers offer this service (I know for a fact that my carrier does not).
Then you carrier isn't up to date. I know they do not all use this same format but that is why you will have a "Choose your Carrier" drop down box that will change it accordingly.
