SMS Payments

I am looking for a way to accept SMS payments, and please don't tell me daopay, out of the the 27 $ i was payed i get 11 $ .. is there any alternatives ??
Also what should i do to accept payment via credit card or debit card that can't be made via paypal.

You must understand that SMS is totally different from other means of payment. Typically the operator takes 40%-50% and the gateway another 10%. So what Daopay gives you is reasonable. Other providers would also pay you only similar amount, nothing great. Operators are the culprits and and they take a big cut.

For micropayments and items like software, membership fee etc. even with a 40% payout, SMS is a great choice for payment.

You can use www.swreg.org to accept credit card payment and their fee is low.

 

Just curious to know that why you are after the SMS payments? You have lot of other payment options like PayPal, Money Bookers etc...

 

IMO,many people don't have paypal but majority people have mobile phone.
So it make more sense to offer sms payment compare to paypal.

 

But for mobile payments, people still need credit card or may be a bank account with electronic clearing. You still have a problem there.

How about accepting offline payments via western union, money order, cheque, demand draft, wire transfer etc? It will save you lot of money.
