You mean you want to receive SMS's and put its content on your site or send SMS's to people from your site? Either way, you have two choices, you either spend a mountain of money on kit to be able to do it directly yourself or alternatively you sign up to a service and pay a per message sent fee. In the UK to receive messages you can either buy a number, which has a monthly fee, or have a keyword on an existing number which is much cheaper; either way you get a cut of the revenue generated by the number so if your volumes are high it can work out well.
Shawn, There are a number of solutions available for your issue. One thing you have to be VERY conscious of, beyond money spent, is HOW use your sms system. Integrating it into your social networks is a double edge sword. We handle all of these issues and a ton more. PM me. T
Hi Shawn, I also did a bit of research on this. Sending sms from your site to mobile is very easy. You will have to check for Telecom providers that provide sms gateways in your country. Like in India for about INR 200000 per month I can get a pack of unlimited sms from my website to mobiles in India. So you can check for sms gateways. There are also plans where I get 10000 sms for around 2000 INR per month. Try surfing for SMS gateways in your country. You'll get all your answers.
