I get up at 4 am, mon-fri and workout for 90 mins - 60 on the eliptical and 30 on weights, as soon as I leave the Gym and get in my car I lite up - smokers are stupid, you have to want to quit - nothing else works.
Yes you have to 'want' to, but something else can help, which for me was working out. Try working out a bit harder and see if you still want to smoke. 60 minutes on an eliptical and 30 on weights isn't all that much of a workout. When I quit I was doing upwards of 2 hours on cardio and 2 hours of weights a day
I agree in both statements. I stop to think some times: When i go out with my friends i have fun due to the effects of beer and sharing time with them. In my country, 2 packs of cigarrettes cost the same as 3 beers (1 lt.) but you have more fun with a beer. Neither is healthy, but cigarrettes do nothing but kill you slowly, no other effects. And when i stopped smoking i did it but just wanting to. And not like some people i know that they smoke less and less everyday planning to stop one day. You have to smoke all you cigarrettes like always, and go to bed as a normal smoker. The next day when you get up, don't smoke. The 1st week is the hardest, but after that, it's all downhill.
