WTF... I ended up on this page click having a look at the job being offered and guess what one of the requirements is? You must be a none smoker. Under the new law you can not smoke in enclosed working environments anyway so who cares if you smoke or not? That's smoker discrimination to you

Yeah, isn't it great to be made into a pariah right in the middle of what is "supposed" to be a free country? Its not like the gov doesn't support the producers, so there is a BIG double standard being perpetuated here. You can be an illegal in this country and demand all the rights of a natural born citizen and get them but, if you smoke, you can't even ride in the BACK of the bus anymore. It gets worse. Lexington, Kentucky recently passed an ordinance that you cannot even smoke in YOUR CAR on a public street. Shouldn't be too long before they kick in the doors and haul your ashtrays off as criminal evidence. Where's the Galactic Bus when you need it? I think its time to check out another planet (maybe a sane one!)

Some might consider people with spots on their faces are gross. Does this mean they don't deserve a job?
I'm sure they didn't mean it in a literal sense. You probably can't smoke in the office and in breaks, but obviously you can do whatever you want in your free time, whether your a smoker or not.

It's probably along the lines of smokers are less healthy than the general population, and they don't want to employ someone who could be off work quite often.
Then its definitely discrimination if its health related. They might as well fire all the people with weak immune system.
I'm a heavy smoker and I haven't been sick in about three years or so. Some companies in the US wont hire you at all if you smoke. I wish they'd stop hiring people who drink, I can't stand drunks.
MAte if you haven't been sick for a long long time then something is really wrong with your system. Smokers who don't catch cold or don't suffer from fever for a long time are most likely to have cancer within them. My friend is fighting cancer now. I'm trying to quit. Smokes take the healthy look off your face, it screws up both inward and outward.
Oh i think thats stupid it don't matter anyway, can easily go down the road for a smoke in lunch hour.
