SMM vs SEM

    Is SMM and SEM is similar in nature? I need to know in details about this two things. How can I work with this?

    SEM is a paid marketing mostly done on search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo also in websites that supports Paid Ads as Publisher of those ads. SMM is entirely different that deals in Social Media Marketing on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Pintrest.

    SEM is also available on Facebook and LinkedIN as paid marketing :)

    SEO is Search Engine Optimization in which we optimize our website for search engines to increase its visibility and SMM is Social Media Marketing which includes promotion of websites through Social Bookmarking, networking websites, forums posting, blog and article posting, and many more.
