Smiley script with 1000 pre-installed smilies for sale

As everyone is busy talking about Google updates, I think I'll take the opportunity to sell a funny script. I came across a similar website and thought it would be good exercise to do a site like this.

Yes, 10 at a time. You can view from the admin demo.

The smilies are free for general use. You can also add your own.

 

Good question. This same 1000 smiley pack is sold about 5 times a day on DigitalPoint.

 

I think the smiley packs are worthless. Customers would be paying for the custom scripts. The smilies are just a bonus
If you're paying just for the smilies, then don't bother. There're thousands more out there...

That's not true... you cannot buy/sell images as part of a package without gaining the authization of the real owners.

Every single smiley designer I know of has copyrighted his smilies. You need to get the conscent of the owners first.

Marcel has a vested interest in saying that. He just PM me to try to sell me a copy of his smilies with resell rights. There are many smilies out there that are free for use on forums, boards etc and AspSmiley complements that nicely. Here's one link and here's another link (this one is funny).

Again, reading the info from my website, it says "Comes with pre-installed 1k smilies"...not "1k smilies for sale".

And Marcel, I'd like to add that your posts are not appreciated in this thread and I strongly suspect that those smilies you are trying to sell me are from a dubious source. So, no, thank you.

I saw this thread at sitepoint, which makes this thread even more interesting.

Apparently Marcel is the new owner of phpsmiley.com. He bought the site at $1.5k (correct me here if i'm wrong). I've contacted Mike Perrucci (apparently the owner of a package of smilies with commercial license) for more info. I'll update the info here once I receive a response.

And I believe I owe Marcel an apology, for I really thought the PM came with ill intention. That has been cleared up after viewing the thread. He was just trying to be helpful

Also, to add on, the smilies are gathered from all over the internet. It is almost near impossible to trace the origin of the smilies, not that I didn't try. I made sure that smilies are collected from sites that allow them to be used free for non-commercial/personal use. Therefore, I would really like to emphasize that I'm selling the script, which is my work, and not the smilies. The smilies and free. You can view more info here.

yes I purchased http://www.phpsmiley.com/ . The last owner probably got the sale since we are still transfering everything. But that's fine.
