Smiles in the Quick Reply Box Please!

Just curious, but I noticed there aren't smiles in the quick reply box to the side of it, so I always have to go to advanced posting and use smiles, can we make it a feature where smiles are at the right hand corner of the quick reply box too?

And don't suggest memorizing the smile code, because I don't want to.

 

Then if we did that we would have TWO "ADVANCED " boxes.........

Thats why its a "quick reply"

 

We could just have the most common smilies like and and .

Besides the advanced has more features than quick reply.

 

If I have entered a quick reply, and decide I want to use a smiley, I just click go advanced, and it brings the text I've already typed into the advanced box and then i pick my smiley and walla...problem solved.

 

I don't think Shawn is gonna do anything like this.
There are few more "important" things where Shawn's attention needed.

I think I could code up a Greasemonkey(firefox extension) script for WYSIWYG quick reply .

 

There are actually a few mods on vBorg that can do it...

is the most aptly named one, but a few others there do show up in the search.

However, I don't like the quick reply at all, as it encourages post counts
