SMF Point system

    Hello,

    I am planning to open a contest. The contest winner should be decided based on how much posts he made, how much itrader it gets ...

    The contest will be restarted each month.

    I heard vbBux / vbPlaza for SMF but it looked complicated. Is there any simpler or more appropriate hack for this aim? What do you think about vbBux / vbPlaza?

    Doesn't SMF have a karma mod that allows you to give karma points based on posts?

    they have karma and mods for karma.

    Theres a SMF Trader thats very easy to install from your forum admin panel

    smf trader is a good one, forgot about that. there is another one being released soon called a Wish List mod. kinda like a gift registry.

    i think thats it, i could be wrong. if your using SMF with a custom theme, any mod you install will require some editing of the files.

    Don't forget the SMF Shop Mod which allows the users to use their points to "buy" stuff - can be customized titles, fancy logos, real items etc etc
