SMF or phpBB..?

Which of them to use..I like both..

I think PHPBB is better then SMF.

 

I've seen a SMF forum that's filled with spam, whereas phpBB seems to deal with spam a lot better. Thats the deciding factor between them for me: the spam, because the other features are pretty similiar.

 

One vote for SMF but never used phpBB because i don't like it so much

Also take a look at myBB
MyBB looks very nice, but i never worked with it.

If i must choose between SMF and phpBB: phpBB... no doubt

I've used both. IMO It's easier to costomize a PHPBB Board, however, I liked the features inteface of the SMF Board more.

 

I tried SMF and didn't like it and I'm now using phpBB.

 

SMF or PHPBB... Why not MyBB? Similar to vbulletin..

 

PhpBB and MyBB are both good and opensource.

 

SMF has autoinstallers... themes... plugins... they are 1click online install, no hard edits, no ftps SMF is kool that ways!

i prefer SMF because if you want nstall plugin or etc that is really comfortable!

 

PHPBB3 Rox! And MyBB with a few good themes also looks very good!

 

I would vote for phpbb + phpbb-seo. They have a version with this seo plugin already installed.
