SMF Mod-rewrite & SEO

Discussion in 'Forum Management' started by manov, Mar 4, 2008.

I want to use SMF script for my new forum because they have integrated RSS syndication feature.

Unfortunately, I cannot use SMF's inbuilt SEO friendly URL option. It says this feature is only available in appache server though I'm using appache & php.

Any help would be appreciate :)

Some don't have favorable experience using SEO4SMF. I think it's not compatible with the latest SMF version.

It isn't.. but I use it anyway.. I am thinking of removing it, but the process of getting it working and fixing bugs was quite hectic.. don't want to remove it now :D

If you have apache installed, you can use the search engine friendly URL's feature that already comes with SMF.
