Can't you just uninstall the package?

I don't mean the theme, I just mean the features. Do you want to keep the features and remove the links?

Get to your admin area, click "packages" on the left menu, scroll down and uninstall any mods you don't want to use. :)

normally, links code is in index.template.php of your theme.
now maybe the links will be removed when you uninstall those mods, and maybe they won't.

you might have to manually edit them out.
