smartpricing sucks

Launched my new site with a good marketing campaign was so excited when I made it to the 50 dollar range on launch.

But everyday I get more and more uniques and the clickthrough rate stays nice and high (high teens - high 20s alot)

Yet everyday that goes by my earnings go down. My clicks have been dropping each day from the 70 cent range per click to the low teens now. Same amount of clickthroughs. The niche is highly targetted, and the people clicking on these adds I know are interested, because its 100% relevant.

I'm just about to pull the plug and go completely on CJ cuz at this point its making more. Adsense is starting to tick me off :(

    /end rant

agreed, I have a computer forum that should have great epc, but instead I get crap like 100 clicks and $8. :( that has to be severe smart pricing

WOW you make it UP to $8 from 100 clicks. I can only say congrats. Those "a few click per cent" are killing me

I feel ya on that one. I get mid-high xxx clicks but the profits are horrible. I'm soon going to moving to all CPM based networks and that way my high volume of impressions will turn into profits instead of wasted traffic.

The solution to low cents per click can be summed up in three words. Traffic. Traffic. Traffic.

Don't worry about low pay per click. Work on your marketing.

Oh, I forgot. Improved CTR is Plan B.

ROD , don't forget you can workaround smartpricing by removing your own junk sites or junk pages. Just keep the pages which can convert well for advertisers.

Just checkout how get out of smartpricing factor money is waiting for you.
