    Hi guys,

Does anybody owns an iPhone ? or a Smartphone ?
Which one is the best, or what are the advantages and disadvantages of each? I never tryed an iPhone.

Which one do you choose ?

Just saw this cartoon joking about this:

PS: Currently I own a Smartphone HTC P3600, and I'm amazed with it: running windows mobile5, GPS, 2 cameras (one for video calls and the other for pictures and movies).

iPhone is the phone. Think about what you want and what you need, and you'll come to that conclusion. And have you noticed how pretty it is?

Iphone all the way, the only thing I dont like about any of the new cell phones is that they dont have a loud speaker phone, so I still use my trusted old nokia that works like no tommarow!

Nice comic, but I still rather own a Iphone. Over here in the middle east we can't access half of what you people access. We only buy mobile phones that look better.. That's it.

iphoe ios way over priced for what you get, that simple :)
you can get a phone, and ipod video for less than the iphone... and come out of it with extra memory to your mp3/video players

Iphone, its all you need. Phone, Music, Video, Internet.

Unless you are using it for business, then you would probably need more.

The cartoon is not mine ;) I just found it after searching «iphone smartphone» on google.

I love iPhone design and especially its innovative interface, but for what I dig so far, its limited in terms of a lot of important things for me such as:

    - Your limited to its interface and you cant tweak it as you please (its a great interface... but I like to choose)

    - You don't access a lot of networks such UMTS (????)

    - You don't have a frontal camera and you are not able to do video calls (this is the future... and its already the present for everyone owning a HTC for example and lots of other brands)

    - You can't have Skype on the iPhone (????) One of the main motives for me to buy a new generation phone was that I'm able to use skype on my phone and spent almost nothing in calls.

    - You can't install new programs on it (or can you?)

    - You can´t syncronize your iphone with your sheduled calendar, appointments, etc

    As for advantages:
    - A lot of disk space
    - great interface for music and videos (but you can read more formats on a smartphone, because you can install new video programs for example)

    I bought the HTC P3600:
    http://www.mypocketpcmobile.com/HTCP3600Review/tabid/208/Default.aspx

And for me, and after researching a lot, it looks like I made the right choice, I'm falling in love with it ;) I already installed a lot of tweaks and now I own a super phone hehehe:

    - I enabled its internal GPS, and now I use TomTom Navigator, I also use Google Maps Mobile, and it tracks my phisical position, so I can know a lot of things about places surrounding me ! (isn't that cool ?)

    - I inserted a special dual SIM card, so I have two cards at the same time (2 different phone numbers), one is the SIM card of my high speed internet account, that let me use 3 Mbits speed and a lot of GB per month.

    - I installed Opera Mobile Browser, that is away much metter than the IE Mobile.

    - I have MSN Messenger and Skype always ON ;) So my phone bill has dropped to almost zero.

    - I'm doing a lot of Video Calls now, which is awesome, like the old fiction movies... but real ;)

    - I have Winamp Mobile and a lot of mp3 on my card

    - I installed the Core TCPMP player, which can read almost every video format.

    - hum... and I just installed Age Of Empires Mobile, which was one of my favourite strategy games
