Smart Pricing to be eliminated?

    Hello,

I know that Google did that big cleanup of MFA websites on June 1st. I believe I've heard that they'll be removing Smart Pricing eventually, but I don't know if that was to happen on June 1st or sometime in the near future.

I have two domains under my current publisher account for Adsense.

2 years ago, I paid for traffic on one of the domains. I soon found out that my CPM dropped to 10% of what it used to be. I guess the traffic I paid for was of low quality and so were the clicks on the ads. I stopped buying traffic and the CPM slowly but gradually went back up.

My question is, will this still happen today? Does Google still do Smart Pricing? What can I do to promote my site, but keep the CPM up?

    Thanks in advance,
    Armin

I've not heard anything, either, about the elimination of smart-pricing. Do you have a source?
