Hello!, I'm posting this on behalf of a colleague, I offered to ask around on his behalf to try and find a programmer who could quote for his coding requirements, hence this post. His brief project requirements are below:- --------------------------------------------- I have an HTML enquiry form on an Association site and would like the info from the form to be sent to specific members dependant on the area of the country they are in. So for example, if the client filling in the form requires a business service in the area of 'London' then the enquiry would only be sent to only those businesses who cover the 'London' Area (there are 82 possible areas in the uk, he can list them if required). The geographical area would initially be selected by the enquirer by clicking on the relevant area of a flash map - demo at http://www.maps4.com/samples/united_kingdom_and_ireland_map_sample.html As well as the Map there should also be an alternative conventional drop down box selection for those without flash installed. The client would then also complete the various other fields within the enquiry form and when the client clicks 'submit' the contents of the form would be forwarded (ideally not by Cc or Bcc) to only those members who cover that particular geographical area. I am looking for someone who can add the necessary coding to the Flash map (which he will purchase) and the drop down box selection plus provide the PHP to send out the emails to members. A CAPTCHA box / code or other similar anti spam measure is also required for the form. Obviously the main criteria of the project is that the contents of the enquiry form are only sent to those businesses who are in the same geographical area as the client, rather than just being sent to everybody in the list as most standard forms would do. It is also important that the emails are sent without disclosing a long list of addresses, so that there is no indication as to who else has been sent the enquiry. --------------------------------------- If you would like to quote for this project then either send the details to me via PM and I will pass it on, or pm me for his email address so that you can contact him directly.
Thanks for sharing that with us, Swishman however...... my post clearly said "PM me if interested" I don't recall saying "Post if you are not interested" I really don't see the problem,my colleague wants to incorporate this map into the project:- http://www.maps4.com/samples/united_kingdom_and_ireland_map_sample.html and so he will buy the map from the above link for the project and then send it to the programmer to be incorporated into this project. What is so difficult about that, the copyright does allow it to be used in this manner. But if you can't / won't do that, then fine, that is your prerogative. Thanks again to those who have replied, here and elsewhere, i'll now pass on the information.
