Smaller Domains Are Better?

    Hello,

    I have a list of about 50 domain names I'd like to purchase. Are smaller domain names the best to purchase? Is there a place online where I can see how much a domain name is worth before I purchase it? Also, are there places online where I can sell a domain name for big money? Thank you for your help.

    If posted on the wrong forum, please correct this for me. Thanks

    it depends first off all you are better off if you start from namepros go there and look around , check the auctions sections and other sections with that you will have an idea what kind of domains go for what prices . IF you are beginner learn first ,there are alot of thing you can learn instead of registering 50 names or buying them you can also start off from Buying llll.com's and better one word.com's ( its just my opinion )

    but if you want to learn you better start from professional DOmain forums like Namepros or Dnforum , i will say you should check out namepros . Digital points isnt the right place if you are starting domaining , if you haven't noticed its place for buying cheap domains , most of the domains here dont sell for right place. You should learn the market first what kind of domains are better and you should stick with major tlds ( just my opinion )

    Generally, but the size of the domain is not as important as Keywords, branding possibilities, grammar, marketing value, and extension.

    You can have it appraised before you buy, or request that the seller get an appraisal from a reputable source like Sedo, but exact value is in the eye of the buyer. Online appraisal tools are for entertainment purposes only. You can't base a sale of them.
    That's going to depend on the quality of what you are selling.
    sedo, name pros, dn journal, and afternic are where high dollar buyers will be looking. A lot of domains are sold privately as well.

    If you have a bunch of crap that you registered in the last month and you want to sell them for $xxx,xxx then I suggest you post it on Ebay, maybe you'll get lucky and find a drunken noob to part with his money...other than that, don't buy a domain from ebay.
