Ok first some background before i explain my problem. I have found a pretty ok niche for me to market. It contains different electronic gadgets. I have bought one domain and built one wordpress site around every product. So i am marketing the products by name and recieving very targeted visitors. So lets say site 1 is for Electronic Jumbo Gadget. My domainname will be like electronicjumpbogadgetreview.com or something like that. Then I write articles around it like, pros and cons using a keyword and things to consider before buying keyword. Then i do the linkbuilding and all that, pretty much effory but i see results and i seem to climb pretty fast even with a totally new domain. My question now is, is this a good longterm strategy? Do you guys handle tons of domains like that? I somehow feel that maybe i reach a point where i cant maintain all this and the costs will grow and stuff. Even if it sounds silly. Even domains i havent hardly touched still make more than they cost in a year What I could do instead is a big site called maybe Electronic Gadgets. The sub categories with each products and do a separate linkbuild for each product. I have tried this a bit in the past but didnt see as quick results. Maybe having keyword in domain adds some im not sure. If you have any input I would be very graetful.
In my opinion, you should try to build a few big sites, but not too many. Try to focus each site tightly around a certain niche. I expanded my network of sites too quickly and now I don't have the time to manage most of them.
It think the best way is to create one high quality website. Do a research in your niche and offer something what other don't offer.
i also suggest you create one or two big sites and make sure they have some backlinks from niche sites.
Still there are people maintining over 100 domains so im not sure. The good thing about many domains is that you are more "diversified". You can also link them together if they are related and gain some extra trust. Well thanks for all input I have to consider this.
