If i copy a description for a hotel from it's official website and put there pictures, contact details and at the end i write: "ALL Informations and pictures were taken from the official website: http:.... "

is it ok to do something like that?

No it isn't. But I doubt they would complain.

Besides you can always ask to the hotel owner if there is any inconvenience doing so.

Get permission. Understand though that with the photographs, the hotel owner might not technically own the copyright to give that permission anyway... it's often retained by the actual photographer, and the buyer is only the owner of the actual prints or whatever they received.

Yup, you need to check with the hotel and see if they are ok with it, but I'm sure they will be as it's free publicity.

As others have suggested you would be better off to contact the actual websites and ask for permission.

thanks for your answers. i decided to go on other way.

i'm going to add between 1,000 and 5,000 hotels and it would be really hard for me to send, keep track and wait for answer from all those emails. also, if i'll just copy from the hotel's official website i won't appear on google for that so, i decided to do for each hotel, one original 200-500 review.

that would make my website original, the owners satisfied because i post reviews and i don't copy their content, and i won't waste all that time sending emails.

Very good idea, I think you have arrived at a great solution for your own question. Although I dont envy you the job of writing 1k to 5k reviews - whew! Best of luck with your project!

The best solution, there is :)

One more thing, your site will get indexed fast by Google with new contents being posted regularly on your site (imagine, 5000 original articles!). And it'll be other site owners who will email you for permission to post your reviews, not the other way around. Them at your mercy, eh? ;)

Good luck to you and your project!

Great idea. And really, just as much work as sending e-mails. Only this way is more beneficial to you.
