I have a small business website that I am building. I am building unique content for optimized pages and backlinking to those pages in order to get SEO results. I am also doing social bookmarking, video and ariticle marketing for those specific pages. I am putting together a forum which will be more interractive as well. What I am hoping to achieve is good ranking in google due to highly relevant content and backlinks. Has anyone done anything like this? Any tips and ideas would be appreciated
Make sure that you include article marketing and use the Link Push method that I have developed. It works very well.
I haven't touch on twitter and facebook seriously yet but since you don't mention the nature of your small business, could twitter and facebook be helpful for you? How about having a blog too?
What you mentioned are all fundamental parts of SEO. Of course there are some factors missing. For example you have to make sure you optimize your meta tags and your H1 - H3. Also create and submit a sitemap. You also want to comment and post on high PR and quality forums and blogs. Make sure that your participation there is of quality as well. Do not make spammy one liner comments. Collaborate, share ideas, ask questions and share useful information. Now remember, these things are optimizing your site to make it search engine friendly and NOT necessarily to get it a pagerank. Keep in mind both are totally different things. Too many people worry too much about PR when in reality they should concentrate on having GREAT SERPS results.
Also, stick to one link-building method and strive to do at least 50 to 100 links per month using ONLY that method. You want to try to get links back to as many pages as you can within your website. Don’t simply focus your links on the homepage.
Thanks guys. I am reading your Link Push report. I wish I could outsource all the backlinking and forum posting for a reasonable price. I have a feeling that services that are being offered do it pretty poorly. The nature of the business is Pest Control, so I am not sure what angle to come from for Twitter and Facebook
With that Link Push report, I think the information is gold, however the links to products are wrong. Might want to fix them
I would like to add that you must link exchange with relevant to site's content. It will help you a lot.
I dont think that exchange works as well as one way links nowdays, but yeah i am aware that links have to be relevant
