Small Business Arena Review Request

Hi everybody
I have launched my new site Small Business Arena yesterday. I'd like all your constructive criticism, and reviews about my new site.

I'm especially interested in your reviews about logo, design, menu, adsense placement and whatever else you can think of.

I will update this site/blog daily, and am looking in hiring guest authors (pay per post basis), so if you have any experience writing in small business/entrepreneurship areas, you can contact me via PM for possible author position.

Matt, nice site. RIN theme, right? I used the same theme here: http://www.mymickeycard.com

My one advice would be to shrink the logo. Just seems to take up more space than it needs to. I was thinking something like this:

I like the adsense on the comments page, I might have to do that.

I have to find a way to change <H1> tags in posts (any ideas?), and fix some xhtml validation errors. I have customized the sidebar, but I get several validation errors.
Your site looks pretty good also, good job.

 

Did you check out the style.css file? All of the variables are in there. I just messed around with it until I found the right ones. Good luck!

I like the site a lot, nice and clean.

As a person who works with benefits often, I think many business owners would be intererested to find some resources on reducing the cost of benefits as the annual increases are in the 10-15% range for the past few years.

 

carowan thanks for your comments. I totally agree with you about reducing the cost of benefits. As a small business owner, it's a very important topic. If you are interested in writing some articles also, please PM me, my goal is to collect valuable articles from professionals.
I'm also looking forward to receive more comments/critiques.
