I have money I can spend on my site now. What can I do with a hundred or a couple of hundred dollars? What needs to be done? If you need to see the site, here it is www.chattennis.com.

Get a new skin/banner - doesn't suit it atm imo.

If you spare some money then i could submit your site to link directories about 200link directories for $10 and about 200-article directory for about $20 including an unique article...

    How this will help....
It will increase traffic and backlinks for your site

We are already into SEO work... so you reply is highly appreciated...

    Thanks

I can submit to directories myself. However, I have absolutely no artistic skill, so I think maybe getting a new skin might be a start.

Change the header and go for a new server...if your members are expanding as this will take a lot of bandwidth and get to install some mods (may be custom ones) which u think is very much needed..I think the budget u have is more than sufficient for these

I think normally it runs around $50-$100 for a custom style.

    Id say upgrade to vBulletin...

It leaves php for dead and if you want your forum to be huge id say its a must.

And if you dont want to do that then id say go for a new skin

    Good Luck with it :)

Spend the 250 to 500 to get it front-paged on Digg. There have been several here who have received 3000+ backlinks from it. After you've submitted to 2000+ directories, it's not easy to pick up another 3000 backlinks all in one fell swoop. This assumes your trying to build page rank, so you can do some link selling.

If you're just looking for targetted traffic then some PPC campaign using long tail combos might be a better plan.
