I am amazed at the number of people I come across everyday in India who believe it's an Indian movie. C'mon having an India based story and Indian actors doesn't make it an Indian movie. But even media is to blame for this, they also project as if SM is a great achievement for Indians. Of course for some like AR Rahman it really is, but it still is NOT an Indian movie). Otherwise bollywood movie kabul Express would actually be an Afghani movie...

    Music was good and original.

    Anybody else?

The movie is great. Danny Boyle is my favorite director and this one's his best so far. I think Slumdog Millionaire is the Oscar Best Picture front-runner this year.

It was truly amazing. A masterpiece i wud say. Perfect example of direction and screenplay. But take it as fiction and source of entertainment instead of finding reality in it.

Ditto what that man just said!

Danny Boyle could win "Best Director" and it could win "Best Picture", even though the film is flawed with many eye-rolling examples:

    1) microphone boom is visible in the frame, when Jamal is questioned by police.

    2) the number "1,000,000" doesn't exist in the Indian culture. This is just one of the many glaring inaccuracies in factual basis.

    3) phone-a-friends are always called before the show is taped, and they make sure they are next to the phone when they are called. (Hollywood plot contrivance at climax of movie)

    4) Bollywood style "Production Number" in the end credits, is very silly and is becoming a cliche (thanks to Gurinda Chadha films released in US).

Even after these flaws... i think this movie is going to get India at least 1 oscar. Probably no movie is perfect.. so is this movie also.

"The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button" is flawless. Great direction, acting, costumes, set direction and art direction.

Even though its not the hyped-up favorite like Slum Dog Millionaire......Benjamin Button is the most "perfect" film that was released in 2008.

    1) Its historically accurate in its depictions of New Orleans and hurricane Katrina.

    2) there are no technical gaffes like Microphone pieces showing up in the finished film

    3) Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett do their best acting work EVER.

    4) David Fincher ("Fight Club") is an awesome filmmaker, he's got an incredible eye for details and cultural accuracy in his scripting & design.

I watched. It is alright I don`t really see anything special in the movie. Some people might like it other might hate it depends on your taste.
