    I personally liked the storyline, but the movie was negative in more than one ways:
    1. It depicts a pseudo Indian picture
    2. It portrays the anchor of the show in a rather negative manner- he keeps calling him a "slumdog" and keeps making fun of his profession- which is contrary to the way AB used to behave with the contestants in the reasl game show
    3. There is just too much tragedy in the main character's life- DO you really think someone can actually bear such tragedy- simply out of the world on that respect
    Overall, yes, a good movie to watch, but a negative movie if you reflect back at it

    Well Good news for Indians as this movie got ten Oscar nominations. A R Rahman has been nominated for original score and Song, one Oscar nomination each for Jai Ho and O Saya.

    Slumdog has been nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Picture, Best Original Score, Best Song, Best editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, Best Cinematography and Best Director at the Oscars.

    Im proud to be an Indian.Bcoz my favourite music director A.R.Rahman did this movie.Im very proud about him.He takes us(Indians) to a very top place.Im proud to be an indian once again.i wish he will definitely receive an Oscar for this effort.

    Well I also wish he can win Oscar for us as he already won Golden Globe Award so we can expect Oscar from him too as Golden Globe Award is second best awards after Oscar.

    Yes You should go for it, I guess only movie which released today is Raaz so you have good option to see movie.:) If you seen KBC, then you will see same thing but strong point is Music and Storyline.

    I like the movie but it has too much coincidence... Matter of fact, Amitab bacchan isn't anything as same as anil kapoor as anil kapoor has act like a sarcastic guy in who wants to be a millionaire. Overall the movie has 50% truth and 50% fake information about India... Majorly, it has shown only the bad side of India which is what makes it not worth an Oscar. ofcourse that A R rehman has made the music... that is truly good.

    I liked the movie as it was something new, but i wont rate it as the best movie ever..
