I have a site where I have ~100 "recommend" buttons in a single page. The site has a really bad load time. How could I make it load faster? Any idea?
Without actually seeing your site, I have no way to really know in what context these recommend buttons are being displayed. If it's a blog site and the recommend buttons are showing up on your homepage with all recent posts, simply remove them from the homepage and allow people to recommend the posts only on the actual post page. If this isn't possible, find another social share plugin that allows this...
