It seems fine to me as they wont all approve and not approving at the same time either.

Unless the 1000 dirs are all owned by one person on one IP which is highly unlikely.

    pipes is right.

your submissions wait in line to be reviewed, and it can take some time for the directory owners to get to yours. then it takes time for the search engines to index the page after it's listed. as long as you are using manual or semi manual submissions, you can submit as fast and as long as you can.

I would recommend a much slower rate of submission, especially if the site is new or has not been gaining new links at a fast rate.

It doesn't matter to sent them all in 1 day or not since they wont be approved in 1 day like pipes said. the only thing you have to consider is how much time you have to submit all of them. the faster the better so you can have time to submit more sites. ^^

1000 submited in 4 days is not bad i did it a lot of times (if the site has olso some age is not very risky)

But more then 1500 in 10-15 days is a good way to go

Is the risk that Google will notice the submission rate? It seems like this makes a directory service that submits in mass number would be a potentially dangerous investment in that case?
