Hi I built a site for a friend and among the 6 or so sites I have built this one is incredibly slow to load, both on the home page and any of the pages within the site. www aussiegroupsecurity com au Whereas another site I built for him www homesecuritybrisbane com uses the same platform, same hosting, has similar page content and loads extremely fast. Why does the 1st site load so slowly? There is nothing special on it, just text and a few small graphics.
Hosted at the same place? I'd recommend downloading and installing the YSlow extension for Firefox, it might help you pinpoint your bottlenecks.
Where is the URL so we can check? I am not god that I know your "code", the webserver,... More informations (e.g. the CSS/HTML or a link) would help a lot, at the end we can help YOU
He gave the url in the first post. Can't say it took a long time to load myself. Around 2-3 seconds on first load.
CSM: Web links in original post. thanks It seems like some of you are getting ok load times but I am getting a noticeable difference between the 2 when I initially open and when browsing various pages within. I do appreciate your feedback.
