Slightly changing a menu's display in Joomla 1.5.3

I just started installing Joomla for the first time tonight (headache, right?) and it's gone more or less to plan. However, when messing with how menus show up on the front end, I got an undesirable effect.

Look at the "articles" box on the left side -- notice how it doesn't have the blue box surrounding it like the "Main menu" box? I'm trying to get both to have that blue box (an the login form, for that matter) but I can't seem to figure out how.

I know you can because this site does:

Any help would be great! Joomla's a bit... intimidating.

P.S. The rest of my site's still in transition from the default content, so don't expect it to make a whole lot of design sense yet :)

    Hi there,
What you need to do is make sure the module class for the main menu and other menus are the same!

Go to Extensions --> Module manager from the backend of your joomla install.
Locate your Main Menu and click into it. Click on Advanced Parameters on the Right hand Side. Under Module class suffix, you should see a value. It may be something like _menu.

Copy this, and then close the main menu.
Now go to the menu you would like to change the look of. I.e. If it is the Login Form, go to this module, and add _menu under the Module class suffix and then save.

What this does is it defines the _menu CSS class to that menu!

    That should do the trick!!

    Cheers

Hmmmmm... I don't think I can edit my previous post anymore, otherwise I wouldn't double post.

Anyways, the _menu suffix works great on the right, but it doesn't seem to do anything on the right border. Is Joomla unable to do the blue outline on other borders or is a different process depending on the menu?

Oh, and I am trying to get my top banner to center... if you look on the site (http://christspeak.com/) it is optimized for 1024x768, but if the screen is any larger the banner just sits on the left edge and it looks a bit funky. I haven't much luck with the CSS. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks again for the help :)
